The UAE and South Korea are discussing enhancing cooperation in energy and climate action

His Excellency Suhail bin Muhammad Faraj Faris Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, discussed with His Excellency Ahn Duk-kyun, Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy of the Republic of South Korea,
Ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries in the fields of energy and climate action, and many issues of common interest.
During the meeting, which was held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure in Abu Dhabi, the two sides also discussed ways to develop intra-energy trade between the two countries, as well as the expected opportunities from the UAE’s hosting of the Conference of the Parties (COP 28) this year.
The two ministers reviewed joint strategic projects that include energy and water. His Excellency the Minister of Energy and Infrastructure praised the strength and depth of the ties between the UAE and Korea, and the bilateral relations between the two countries, which are witnessing great development.
