Intimate pit chasm, at the Paris Opera

Two choreographers who trained at the Bacheva Dance Company in Ohad Nahrin, Bobby Jane Smith and Orr Schreiber, signed on to a wild, rebellious creation, for its world premiere on Friday night.

The word consists of only three letters. opens a continent. Still fragile but sexy: ********* is the name of the creation that Bobbi Jean Smith and Orr Schreiber just signed Paris Opera Ballet. On stage, there is a large raised platform bordered by chairs. The raised curtain is exposed of twenty dancers seated on it, to the right, the side of the courtyard, at the angle of the proscenium. There is a woman who put her feet up. They wear stiletto heels. Thus, the metaphor of desire opens the play, and will develop to the finale as the man devours a shoe of chocolate. It sets the tone, on a complex melodic string: a Violin Concerto by Sibelius with additional music by Celeste Oram.

Love, death, momentum, nature, loneliness, fear: this is the very emotional degree that dancers grapple with. However, there is no decoration. The theater presents itself as a box of gray walls, with a staircase rising up one of them…
