New Delhi. According to the big news coming from Punjab, the police here today have arrested Amr Pal Singh, one of the supporters of the Khalistanis. According to the information, Amritpal Singh was hiding in Gurudwara near Nakodar in Punjab. Due to the seriousness of the matter, Punjab government has suspended the internet service in the state until 12 noon tomorrow i.e. Sunday.

Earlier today, Punjab Police arrested 6 associates of Amritpal Singh. The arrest took place at Shahkot Malasia in Jalandhar, while Amritpal Singh himself fled the place. Police has been following Amritpal Singh since then and now he too has been arrested soon. However, earlier in the day, Amritpal’s colleagues shared a video on social media asking Amritpal supporters to reach the live site as soon as possible.

In fact, before this, the police had information that Khalsa and Hare were to be removed from Chakot Malasian in Jalandhar on behalf of Amritpal Singh. A large number of supporters were gathering at Gurdwara Sahib.

Remarkably, at present 3 cases have been registered against Amritpal Singh. Two of these are at Ajnala Police Station. The police had long been preparing to arrest him. Last month, Amritpal and his supporters stormed the Ajnala police station on the outskirts of Amritsar, wielding swords and pistols. During this, Amritpal also gets into a heated clash with the police for the release of a close friend.
